We loved the fitted dresses, smooth hair and flawless faces at Cushnie Et Ochs AW14 show. With not a seam, strand or lash out of place, models rocked an impeccably glamorous look that is bound to inspire us for the next few seasons. So, for those of you wanting to jump on this 'preened to perfection' bandwagon, just how can you get the look?
Hair on the runway came courtesy of Antonio Corral Calero, Moroccanoil Artistic Director, who used every weapon in the best-selling Moroccanoil arsenal to smooth and silken hair into submission. Antonio blowdried hair in sections, pinning each into a curl to cool while he worked on the remaining hair. Curls were carefully released and brushed, rounding off with Moroccanoil patted onto the final style to impart a high-gloss finish.
Makeup on the models harked back to old style Hollywood, with faultless complexions, a flick of liner and a natural-looking lip. There's no room for error here, so Clarins 3-Dot Liner, £20 would be a savvy buy if you want to recreate this look, as it allows you to draw a perfect line by joining the dots. For lips, Estée Lauder Pure Color Gloss in Mod Poppy, £18, hits the right neutral note.
