Bobbi Brown has devised a brilliant plan to get us through the winter blues by releasing its much-anticipated Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation, SP15, a game-changing medium coverage foundation that glides on effortlessly and fits like a second skin. Hot on the heels of the original Skin Foundation, this long-wear formula provides more of a matte finish (opposed to the more dewy look achieved with Skin), and therefore, stays put the entire day.
Unlike many matte coverage foundations that often feel cakey and gives your skin an ashy appearance, Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation contains true-to-skin pigments that blend perfectly, delivering a full yet natural coverage that stays smooth and crease-free.
In terms of shades, the formula offers 30 options with the darkest shade being Cool Espreso. If you’re pondering on whether you really need another foundation in your makeup arsenal, we say a resounding YES! For a medium coverage foundation – this is as good as it gets. I usually experience an oily T-zone throughout the day, but with this little wonder I didn’t have to reapply any shine reducing products at all. And just like it claims, it left my skin feeling breathable and supple, no tightness at all. Another thing worth mentioning is this product doesn’t appear to transfer, something which I find Bobbi foundations have a tendency to do. Priced at a reasonable £31 and available to buy exclusively from John Lewis now, and everywhere from 11th January, purchase a bottle here.
