Now that the days are getting lighter, and Spring is around the corner (although it doesn’t quite feel like it), now is the ideal time to get your skin primed and perfected for the warmer months. Leading beauty website for women of colour Brown Beauty Talk is holding its first readers event on Wednesday 28th February entitled brownbeautytalk Skincare Essentials which will be held in conjunction with skincare brand, Good Things and the Black Skin Directory. The aim will be to tackle all those skincare issues and questions that you have such as hyperpigmentation, skin scarring, the basics of skincare (how to cleanse, tone, moisturise) and how to effectively use sun care.
Good Things is a range of gentle skincare based on natural ingredients which is affordable and is designed to help everyone make the most of their skin. You will be able to test out the products from the brand, especially the new Spot-Lessly Clean range and take a sample home with you. Alice Hart-Davis, the creator of Good Things will talk to you about the brand and give you some tips on how to look after your skin. She will be joined by Aesthetician, Dija Ayodele who founded the Black
Skin Directory to make it easier for Women of Colour to connect with skincare professionals in the UK.
The generous folks at Brown Beauty Talk are offering 3 pairs of tickets to attend this intimate and informative event, to be in with a chance of winning just email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org under the subject header Brown Beauty Talk.
