Which styles are most popular in the salon?
Natural hair cuts are still big. I’ve also noticed that clients are opting for more vibrant colours such as blonde hues. The placement of colour is also much freer and more experimental. So for example, rather than opting for a full head of highlights, they’re asking for a deliberate placement of colour just at the front of the hair. Perhaps it’s a sign that some clients want to get more adventurous in 2019!
What treatments are customers opting for at the moment?
Due to the cold weather, clients’ hair needs lots of moisture, so Lusters You Pro Critical Care Deep Conditioning Treatment, which contains a blend of botanicals and oils including carrot oil, olive oil, rosemary, is proving popular.
What hairstyle or cut has caught your eye on Instagram?
I love the gorgeous structured waves created by our very own Michelle Sultan on the stunning Jennifer Hudson. The waves have a lot of definition, yet they still look beautiful and soft. Jennifer’s chocolate and caramel hues also compliment the look. Sheer perfection!
