What condition was your hair before your salon visit?
My hair had dry straggly ends and needed a cut to revive it back to full health.
What were you hoping to achieve with your salon visit?
I wanted a brand new look for summer, consisting of healthy hair from tip to end and to get sound advice on how to maintain healthy hair.
Describe the salon décor, location and atmosphere…
The location is perfect, it’s literally a 5-6 minute walk from the nearest tube station. The décor is bright, spacious and welcoming. I love the ring light area where you can have fun and take selfies with your new hairdo. I was also impressed that all of the staff acknowledge you with a warm smile and welcome. It’s little touches like this that result in a positive experience.
Were you given any advice about after care?
Yes – I was told how to wrap my hair property, which products to use to maintain it and how to look after the colour.
What was the best thing about your salon experience?
Definitely my stylist – she is knowledgeable, friendly, personable and made a nerve-wracking decision (adding colour) easy to make. She really listened and paid attention to my hair needs and wants.

Dupe’s hair required hydration so we started by using KeraCare 1st Lather Clarifying Shampoo to deep cleanse. Next, KeraCare Hydrating Detangling Shampoo was used as a follow-up cleanser to soften the hair. Dupe was then given an intense luxury masque using Affirm MoisturRight Hair Repair Masque Treatment. To style, we blowdried hair using Affirm MoistureRight Leave-in Detangler and KeraCare Silken Seal as a protectant. Then we gave Dupe a silk press, restyle cut and free hand highlights in the front of the hair.
